It was very beautiful when it snowed on Saturday and we took some photos of the trees that we could see from our bedroom window. The snow was still pristine and the trees took on a magical look. Having just returned from the tropical climate of Mexico, I didn’t really want to walk around in the cold but it was lovely to see as long as I was indoors. Fortunately, yesterday the blizzard did not materialize here in New York and I’m sure there will be other opportunities for winter photos. These may find a way into my art as I often combine people and nature in my paintings. To me, they both represent strength as well as fragility.
